Foley

Foley from the studio

Foley is like an acoustic magnifying glass, allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves in the world of the film.

They add depth to a scene, enhance the atmosphere, create suspense, and draw attention to details that aren’t audible in real life.

Foley is a fundamental part of sound design. With a keen sense of the right rhythm and the right materials, I create the sounds for your audiovisual project in the studio.

Foley live on stage

Live sound effects in the theatre and cinema have a long tradition. In the silent film era, sound effects artists sat behind the screen and created sounds to accompany the images, turning every performance into a new and unique experience.

Even today, events featuring live sound effects remain hugely popular with audiences.

Whether it’s a live radio play, a reading or a short film with live foley – I’d be delighted to work with you to create the perfect soundscape for your stage project. When it comes to choosing props, remember: the eye listens too!
